Amy Hernandez - Director of Sales
Amy is a University of Central Florida Alumni with a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communication and a minor in Hospitality Management. Her professional experience ranges from various hospitality backgrounds such as destination management, event management & nonprofit event planning and operations. Through this experience, Amy has familiarized herself with not only corporate events, but with social, nonprofit and pharmaceutical meetings as well.
Amy joined the Talk of the Town Restaurant Group Family in 2000 where she worked at FishBones part-time while attending UCF. Her talents and inter personal skills were quickly recognized by management andshe was prompted to the corporate office to work as a Special EventsCoordinator. She now leads thesales team as Director of Sales & Special Events. Amy stays current in the meetings and events field as a member of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI). She spreads her leadership beyond company walls and into the Orlando community where she is committed to many charitable organizations among them are Special Olympics, Kids Beating Cancer, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida & the UCF Alumni Association to name a few. Amy is also the chairman of Talk of the Town's John’s Challenge for Kids Beating Cancer.
Amy’s greatest enjoyment is spending time with her husband and daughter, helping others, attending Orlando City Soccer games, traveling, wiggling her toes in the sand at the beach and enjoying the simple things in life.
